Bowland wild Boar park, is located in the Forest of Bowland and is under and hours drive away from our accommodation at Bowland Fell park, Todber Valley and South Lakeland leisure village.
The park is surrounded by fells and woodland, sat on the banks of the river Hodder
A great place to escape for a few hours, enjoy the local wildlife and outdoors with lots to see and do for the children.
The park has a variety of activities to take part in from ‘barrel rides’ , ‘Tank driving experience’ to hand feeding some of the animals and animal petting. This is a great experience for children to enjoy and to also learn about the various animals at the park in an interactive way.
As well as the animals and rides there is also nature walks to follow and with different length walks to choose from there will be something to suit all visitors to the park. The park also has a extensive outdoor play area for children to go on whilst you sit and back and relax and take in the surroundings of the park.
The Bowland Boar park also has a café serving a range of hot and cold food/drink to either takeaway or eat in and has its own ice cream Parlour.
The Bowland wild Boar park is a great day out for the whole family! Even if it’s just for walk around the nature walks and to escape for a few hours.
