Although you might think it has “sands” in the resort name you will not find any. Grange-over-Sands was a popular Victorian and Edwardian resort within Morecambe Bay that lies between the mountains and the sea.
The resort has nice gardens and nice walks down promenade that looks out onto miles of saltmarsh so you can bring your four legged friend for a walk, also there is still a active train line that runs along the promenade of Grange-over-Sands.
Note that the saltmarsh should not be accessed at any time as in many places you have quicksands.
