Silverdale beach sits at the front of the small beautiful village of Silverdale within the Morecombe Bay, Silverdale is within Lancashire but it is on the border with Cumbria.
The bay has quite a few dangerous areas with fast tides and mud and it is recommended to stay close to the shore where you have plenty of sand and rock pools to explore, Silverdale Beach is dog friendly and allows dogs all year.
There is pay and display car parking available in the village and plenty of cafe's such as the Blossom Bird Coffee Shop or there is The Silverdale Hotel for home cooked food and a drink.
